When PACCAR Parts approached The Walk with the goal to create a mammoth exhibition backdrop, how could we resist? The Brisbane Truck Show is the largest and most important trucking industry event in Australia, and the 2017 show featured more brands than ever. As the premier truck parts supplier in the country, PACCAR Parts needed to exceed expectations with a bigger and better presence than the competition.
PACCAR Parts were looking to make a big impression during the 2017 Brisbane Truck Show. Attracting more than 35,000 attendees from around the world, the stand needed to make be visually arresting, represent the PACCAR Parts brand and enable key messaging to make an impact among the 310 exhibitors on the busy exhibition floor.
The space was designed to be open and welcoming, display key products, brand messaging and an innovative virtual reality experience. The backdrop provided the illusion of depth, giving visitors an impression of looking inside a store. The photoshoot required careful planning, artful photography techniques and detailed retouching to produce a great result that would hold up to scrutiny at such massive size. The stand had a cut through speech bubble which showed a cyclical animation of brand messages on a recessed TV, adding attention-grabbing movement to an already impressive installation.
PACCAR Parts enjoyed a bumper Brisbane Truck show, with universal acclaim given to the stand design from both internal stakeholders and event visitors. With thousands of visitors moving through the exhibit during the four day event, the PACCAR Parts brand achieved the impact and memorability deserved by Australia’s premier truck parts brand.
